In 1977 for the first time I stepped onto the boards of the Main Stage in Agoura answering the call of Terry Collier, the gifted Vaudevillian stage manager who trained and mentored me. Within two seasons I was getting my passes as an assistant stage manager, and by the early eighties I was managing Mountebank in Agoura and Innyard in Novato. Along with those two stages I served time at Maypole common in Agoura, and as a fill-in at Traders Market. I met some of the most amazing people and had some great times, in particular producing some wild and creative night shows.
The Teahouse of the Mullah Nasrudin's Donkey was one of my side jobs, often I would dance with Grego and the Danse Macabre, and on the off season I stage managed Fools Guild Parties in the Old Guild Hall on Fountain Avenue. Eventually this page should reflect a cohesive view of that experience, for now it is presented in its earlier form while I am working on it.
