Marque "Q" Siebenthal
SIEBENTHAL , Marque "Q"
(AKA Mark K. Zultz) graduated from this 'Mortal Coil' just short of his 55th birthday. He was born July 30, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona. Always a performer he was in the Renaissance Fair for 25 years, while working as a messenger in San Francisco, at NBC, Burbank and finally, at his own business, American Fine Arts Transparencies in Los Angeles.
He leaves behind many, many friends from his Renaissance Fair Days. And a loving family: mother, Betty Siebenthal of Ojai, brothers Kristopher Siebenthal of Ridgecrest, John Siebenthal of Northridge, sisters, Suzanne Siebenthal, (AKA Papanickolas), of Oak View, Katherine Lathouwers of Roseville and a half sister, Lisa Zultz. Seven nieces, one nephew and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Zultz, father, Albert Carl Zultz and stepfather, Edward Von Siebenthal.
A tribute to his life will be held later.
From Q, "To Shelley, my scarecrow, I'll miss you most of all".

Never has been, never will be another Q. Pure creative energy - filter-free - going full tilt boogie. He could fix anything, build anything from nothing, find anything anywhere, find a unique angle on any experience. The one man I’d choose to be with in a disaster, the one man I’d choose to be the last man on earth. The world’s worst, but most enthusiastic early morning unplugged electric guitar player. From the treehouse in Troll Hollow to NYC to Burger Bivouac to the Bicle and beyond, the interior decorator extraordinaire. Bar none best Christmas presents and cards. Having access to his brain was like a having your own quirky warp speed search engine long before there was an internet. Spike Jones, Groucho Marx, and Bozo the Clown rolled into one. The most devious Puck. Our own trickster. No modesty, no shame, no airs. My hero, my touchstone. I can’t imagine what my life would have been without him.
