He has made literally millions of people around the world relive the comic magic of Stan Laurel, Charlie Chaplin and Groucho Marx through his twelve years at Universal Studios, Six Flaggs, Disneyland, corporate events and international appearances.
Jeffrey, a California native, was discovered by director Martin Breast during a national search for the lead in the 1982 film, ‘War Games’. Jeffrey was screen tested along side the likes of Dana Carvey and Eric Stolz. Martin said Jeffrey was his favorite for the role, yet the director was compelled to use the already ‘proven’ Mathew Brodrick. Martin was also replaced on the film by John Badham. Jeffrey went on to work on Twilight Zone the Movie with Mad Max’ director George Miller.
About this time Jeffrey started working in various improv comedy troupes
honing a sixth sense of working with audience members and other creative comedians.
His style of physical comedy transcends language and culture. While artistic
director of the ‘Flying Penguins’ improv comedy group he helped form
the highly acclaimed Los Angeles Theater Sports, now in it’s tenth
year. He’s appeared with the Second City Alumni, and the Laugh Factory’s
house improv group, ‘Wrought Irony’ and dozens of environmental theater
projects such as, Build a Mystery, The Northern and Southern California
Renaissance Faires, the Charles Dickens Christmas Faires, the
Fools Guild events, hundreds of parties for old and young as characters;
Charlie Chaplin, Groucho Marx, Stan Laurel, Pee Wee Herman, Lobsterman,
Andy Warhol, Bob Cratchet, and scores of others, performing in murder
mysteries and events. Now he aspires to make a name for himself .....no longer
content being a mystery.
Jeffrey has begun work on his web page.

Then two days at Del Mar Race Track as Groucho with brothers, Harpo & Chico, (Universal's Al Feiman & Chris Durmick) creating mayhem for the over-a-million dollar sellers for Daimler-Crystler. Then two days with Universal's own Bevis Faversham as Laurel & Hardy at the Natural Foods Expo in Anaheim.
If that isn't enough, I will be appearing on Diagnosis Murder as a Lucas, the returning game show champion that Dick Van Dyke's character has to beat to get to the killer...on April 27th on CBS.
I have a cameo as Andy Warhol in the NBC mini-series movie, "The 70's" airing on the last day of April & the first of May. Our own Harley Zumbrum co-stars as a mean spirited Alaska oil line foreman.
Coming this summer, I appear as Groucho opposite Leslie Neilson in 2000.1 A Space Travesty and a hilarious turn as Jean Goddard in the independent feature, "To Serve And To Protect".
Also I appear with my two boys, (Nicholas 13 & Spencer 10) in illustrations by Robert Florczak. We play characters in a newly published Charles Dickens fairy tale, "The Magic Fishbone" due out in September.
